Power Edge 2900 SCSI (SAS) Disk replacement
Hi All,
I got an error: E1810 HDD 6 Fault. The HD P/N is: ST3300656SS which is the Cheetah 15K. I also have the Raid controller as: PERC 6/I integrated(Embedded).
I bought the same HD but it is not Dell and just Seagate. The HD was rebuilt OK but now the 2 green lights in the Caddy are always on.
When the HD works then 1 of the green lights blinks.
The rest HDs (from Dell) only 1 green light is always on.
Any idea?

Non-certified drives may or may not function perfectly, anything from inaccurate LED status to completely non-functional. Want/need 100% functionality, then buy certified drives.
