WhereIsMoney,

When in the BIOS, below the Embedded SATA section, verify that the corresponding  SATA port is set to Enabled or Auto. If the ports are set to Off then it wont see the drive regardless. If it is set to Enable then I would look at compatibility with the hard drives themselves. What is the part number for the Hdd's?

Let me know.

in the BIOS, SATA port is set Auto. I tried SSD Kingston SH103S3480G. Supported HDD - is any HDD from technical guide? if so, then SSD is ok, since its MLC and 480GB. Before tried HDD  Seagate ST3250820NS and Fujitsu MHY2060BH. Fujitsu works fine if connected to USB port with sata->usb adapter.

DELL-CHRIS H,

Maybe there is some kind of jumper to enable onboard sata? or i need to update firmware? when i try epsa in EFI shell, it tells me that "No Hard Drive detected, or disk controller is not supported". BIOS v2.7.1,

build 4235.1 uefi
