Poweredge R720xd SATA drive compatibility
I have a running R720xd with a 4 TB SAS HDD, Product ID WD4001FYYG that needs to be replaced in a RAID array.
The service tag says the Part Number is 400-26601.
This PN is no longer available and the closest one I can find is the 400-ALRT.
Is the new part number hot-swap compatible with the existing disks?
Thanks.

I'm showing the only difference between these drives to be a 6Gbps connection vs a 12Gbps connection. The new drive won't be able to reach the full connection speed, but will still work fine as a substitute for the original drive. I am confused though, with both of these being SAS drives, did you have a question about SATA, or was that just a typo?

Thanks for the clarification. The SATA reference was just a typo indeed. I've noticed it just after posting, but wasn't able to change the title :).
