Problem with Ghost 11.5 restore throughput

PowerEdge T100 with two identical SAS drives.

Create process runs at 2.6Gb / min.

Restore starts at 7Gb /min (no real data xfer...just hangs), then drops to 600 Mb, then drops to 400Mb /min and stays there.

I have a ticket open with Symantec, but have not found a resolution.

  I've tried all published switches and one not published to no avail.
  I've upgraded the BIOS to no avail.
  I've upgraded the firmware of the HD's to no avail.
  I've swapped disk0 /disk1 to no avail.
