R 820 DELL servers | GPU support

Hi All,

I have a question regarding compatible GPU of R820.

As per my search,the below is the compatible one for R-820 DELL servers.

75W NVIDIA Quadro 2000GPUs

Except this,any other CPU cards like mentioned below is compatible to R 820 ? If its not compatible,could you help me to get the DELL R820 compatible cards from Intel/NVIDIA ?

The R820 was only tested and validated with the Quadro 2000 for HPC use, according to the documentation I'm looking at. You can certainly try other cards, but your experience may vary.

 

As far as I'm aware, the RTX 2080 is too large and too power hungry.

 

GPU Card Restrictions

  • Higher wattage (>75W) or larger physical GPUs cannot be supported in the R820.
  • Up to two GPU cards supported in the R820.
  • Requires the two PCIe x16 slot configuration of the R820. Both Riser 1 and 3 are required.
  • GPU card dimensions limited to ¾ length and single-wide cards.
