R230 Raid Configuration
Is it possible to have a RAID 1 + RAID 1 on the 230? And does it matter which RAID controller?
So a total of 4 physical drives: OS on its own RAID 1 using 2 physical drives and data on its own RAID 1 using 2 physical drivers.

The server, as well as the supported controllers, will support the use of dual Raid 1 Virtual Disks. You will need to create the OS one first and then install the OS and create the second one afterwards, on the software controllers.

Yes, either controller can do it, but because it is not an option on the online configurator, you will need to contact your TAM or Sales Rep to have it configured (or order the number of drives you need in RAID 5 or 10 then reconfigure/rebuild when you get it).

Thanks. I wasn't seeing in the configuration options like I was on the R430 server. Checked documentation on the R230 and controllers not much in there for my specific question. Thanks again.
