I've also run into this issue, from what I can pick up it's perhaps because the drives are flashed with a different firmware and need putting back to the right Seagate one for normal use, at least that's what one seller has told me, I've now got 6 assorted Seagate SAS drives that report blocked on my H310 card and wrong type on a R410 PowerEdge.
I have no idea how to go about re-flashing them though

Sorry I should add it is indeed reading them, but they show up as blocked under state.
