R720 blocked constellation drives
Hi,
I was hoping someone can shed a light on my problem. I ordered 4 Seagate Constellation 4TB drives. Model# ST4000NM0023 for my R720.
With them all in the rack, it's only reading one of the 4. I found out that's because 3 of them have a date on the drive stating : 14502 and the one that works is 15226 so I take it I have one newer version of this hard drive and 3 older versions. (same overall model though)
On the H310 configuration utility - the working drive says Seagate product (ST4000NM0023) revision 0004and is ready to be converted to raid or be worked with.
The other 3 say Seagate product (DKS2E-H4R0SS) revision 7FA6.
My H310 firmware is currently 20.13.3-0001 with BIOS at 2.7.0.
I can't seem to click any options related to the other drives and the updates haven't made them visible. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks so much!

Sorry I should add it is indeed reading them, but they show up as blocked under state.

Did you ever find a resolution for this?

I've also run into this issue, from what I can pick up it's perhaps because the drives are flashed with a different firmware and need putting back to the right Seagate one for normal use, at least that's what one seller has told me, I've now got 6 assorted Seagate SAS drives that report blocked on my H310 card and wrong type on a R410 PowerEdge.
I have no idea how to go about re-flashing them though
