RAID 1 Rebuild
I have a PowerEdge T710 with a PERC 6 controller running a RAID 1 configuration. The hard drive 0 is flashing amber so I am going to replace the drive with one that I purchased from Dell. How do I install the new hard drive so the RAID 1 will rebuild itself?

The rebuild should initiate automatically. If it does not then you can either set the new drive as a hot spare or follow the manual rebuild procedure in the manual, page 107:
