Replacing spinner with SSD
Hi,
I want to replace my raid array from spinner hard drives to SSD's. After connecting the disks when I go to OpenManage and select replace disk it wont let me replace my spinner with SSD. Is there any reason why it let me replace a spinner drive with an SSD?

Dovidb,
There unfortunately isn't going to be a viable way to replace the existing members of a "spinner" virtual disks with SSD's. This is because SSD's can't be mixed with "spinners" within the same Virtual Disks. What you would need to do is to backup the existing data, replace the existing drives with the SSD's, then recreate the Virtual Disk, install the OS, and then restore the data from backup.
