T620 with H710 controller compatibility with HGST HE8 drives
Hi there,
I want to configure a T620 with 12* 8TB HGST HE8 SAS drives.
Can anyone advise whether this will work?

I am not seeing the HE8 drives listed on the supported list. That doesn't necessarily mean that they will not work, but simply haven't been tested on that server platform. So with that being said it would mostly be trial and error with the drive to see if it functions. Sorry I can't give you a definitive answer on it, but it just isn't a tested drive.

There isn't a external hard drive list that I am aware of. The LUN limitation is up to 64 logical drives and 64TB LUN support, as seen here.

Thank you Chris. Could you tell me where I can find the supported drive list? Do you know what the max LUN size is for the H710?
