The HGST brand's physical work indicator led
Hi,
We have installed the HGST 156060VLS600 on our Dell R720 server. The PERCH H710 mini controller is on the server. The physical status indicator light from other dell discs is off. However, the light of the HGST disc is solid green. Is this normal?

Hello
If you are using non-certified disks then the status lights may or may not function correctly, or at all. Our controllers should display warnings on any non-certified disk, but behavior can be erratic when unsupported hardware is inserted into the server.
