Very frequent PERC6i resets in 2900
Last week the PERC6i card in a 2900 server was replaced, along with the battery. Now I'm seeing very frequent card resets, leading to OS crashes.
The card has the latest 6.2.0-0013, A11 firmware and is running RHEL 5.3.
This morning the card doesn't even seem to be responding in the BIOS utility. The utility starts but doesn't respond to any keystrokes.
It sounds like broken hardware to me though I'd welcome any other suggestions.

That does not sound good.
Other than making sure all cables are properly connected, I do not see any other solution that calling Dell again.
Why was your controller/battery originally replaced?

It appears that two drives have failed - if they are connected, the controller crashes.
They were replaced because I was receiving a battery warning at boot time.
