can't see raid options
My controller card can be upgraded to raid, I tried to install the drivers but it does not accept them, what can be done to make it work, my server is Dell Power Edge 2970, the drivers were already loaded from SUU and from the windows installation 2003 and 2008 R2

Would you clarify the specific controller you have installed, as the driver files are controller specific?

I installed this Dell PERC 5/E Adapter FW, version 5.2.2-0076, A11 , it only accepts SAS and not like this one that raid marks, but it tells me that it is incompatible, and only accepts drivers for sas, card model e2k-ucs-61-(b)

One thing to clarify, are you connecting the drives externally? I ask as the Perc 5/e is an external storage controller. The controller needed for use with internal drives would be the Perc 5/i (part # HN359)
