how to change the HDD in RAID 0 with out any DATA loss.

Hello,

I have Dell Server R710  Raid 0 ; I received 146 GB HDD from dell now i want update one HDD form 146 GB to 600 GB.

Can you please help me how to change the HDD in RAID 0 with out any DATA loss.

Kindly do the needful ...

You need to backup your data, then restore to another array/disk.  This can include copying/cloning directly to another RAID array in the system (including a single-disk RAID 0 with a 600GB disk).  There is nothing in the RAID controller to help you do what you want to do.

I'd add to theflash1932 the recommendation to buy a second 600GB drive and change from raid 0 to raid 1. This way if you ever have a drive failure, you should still be up and running and you can replace the failed drive with a working one.

Raid 0 has no redundancy, so a single drive failure results in dataloss.
