Most of Dell's 8th generation servers (e.g. 1850, 2850, and the 1855) didn't have VT as Intel didn't offer it in the processors. It didn't become a capability till the 9th generation servers.
I think one of the exceptions is the 6850 with certain processors as it's a quad processor system, for which Intel released the processors much later and by then they started putting VT in the processors.
