Hardware Malfunction PowerEdge 2550

Does anyone have any ideas of this Issue and how to resolve.

What happened so far, rebuilt with W2k Adv, all windows updated patched, all bios, firmware updated, even Broadcom firware v1.12
get intermittent Blue Screen messages every so often reboots

NMI: Parity Check / Memory Parity Error

*** The system has halted ***

looked at dell support, said to do with Broadcom. IS THERE A NEW FIRMWARE NEWER THEN V1.12?

Have done Dell Diagnostics, output from dell diagnostics

Test Errors
Msg: An important event was detected in the ESM log. Critical error on entry
38 of 65.  SMB event was reported for PS 1 Status  sensor with a value of
FF02h.
Embedded Server Mgmt - ESM2 BP Primary Sensor Check        : Fail
 Status: Fail  Status Code: DOS DDG-D ESM2 140 036
 Device: Embedded_Server_Mgmt  Test: ESM2_BP_Primary_Sensor_Check
 Release: 1065 Module(s): Esm2
Msg: An important event was detected in the ESM log. Critical error on entry
36 of 65.  SMB event was reported for MB Voltage Battery sensor with a value of

Does go on for a bit... so cut it short, same messages different mem addresses

Tried swapping system Ram, Raid Ram.

can anyone shed any light on this.

thanks

The first error appears to be memory related which could be the ROMB memory or main storage.
The second message is to do with the service processor detecting an error with the backplane.
Try downloading DSET and installing then create a report freom that.
It should give you a clearer picture.

Also make sure that all the power cables are plugged in correctly to the system board.
The power problem reported may be an old problem that is still retained.
Reset your ESM logs then run the tests again.
