PowerEdge SC1420 proc upgrade possible?

I have a Dell PowerEdge SC1420 which supports 2 procs but currently has a single Xeon 3.0 GHz 1MB cache proc installed.  It supports up to 12 GB of RAM if you max out 2GB in each of the 6 slots.  Ideally, this would make for a nice little Windows Server 2008 Hyper-V server if the proc would have supported Intel Virtualization Technology, even though it does support the 64bit OS.  The Xeon that is in there does not support VT!

My question is whether or not I can upgrade the proc to a Xeon Tulsa http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xeon#7100-series_.22Tulsa.22 which is also a 800 MHz FSB / Socket 604 proc?  This processor does support Intel Virtualization Technology and is 64bit compatible.

Anyone ever done this or have any guidance on this plan?  If I do this...will the BIOS even recognize the VT upgrade?

Thx,
Gaylen

I AN SORRY THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN GET TO 12 GB RAM IS IF YOU HAVE 2 PROCESSORS.

SINGLE CPU YOU MAY ONLY USE SLOTS 1,2 AND 5,6.

THE INFORMATION IS LOCATED ON THE INSIDE COVER, REALLY HAVE TO FOR THE INSTRUCTION ABOUT THE MEMORY

OPERATIONAL SYSTEM, WHAT EACH SLOT DOES

THE MOST YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PUT WILL BE 5-6GB

MULTI-ACTION MEMORY SLOTS 1-4

SINGLE-ACTION MEMORY 5-6
