How to modify Server Name Display on Server

Question

I've just set up a new server (PowerEdge 1950) but cannot figure out how to change the small, lit display on the front to display the name of the server.   Can someone tell me how I can accomplish this?   Thanks.

Hi,     To change the name in front LCD display, go into the BIOS by pressing F2 during post. In the BIOS menu, you will find the 'Embedded Server Management' option. Inside this option, you will find the 'User-Defined LCD String' option where you can enter what ever you want to be displayed.   Thanks, Raja.
