Timr3,

An OEM version of the OS is not transferable between servers. You can transfer the OS with Volume or Retail licenses.

Let me know if this helps.

If you need to reinstall OEM on the server it came with, you can use evaluation software from Microsoft to install, then convert and activate the license. However, as stated, you cannot move an OEM license to another machine. You purchase OEM at a steep discount, and the reason why it is so cheap is it comes with this limitation.

You can install the evaluation and run it for 180+ days though.

Sorry, just sounded like you wanted to install your 2012 OEM OS that came with another server on older servers. OEM licenses don't work that way. They are tied to the hardware with which they originally shipped for eternity.

If you are just reinstalling on the machines the licenses came with, then you download the evaluation ISO and install with that. Then you can convert the license type from eval to retail using DISM, then activate with your key. I can give you a step by step when you are ready for it.
