PERC issues with Suse and OES2 ?
Have read elsewhere about possible problems with Dell's PERC controllers (RAID1) and Suse Linux. We're planning on purchasing a new Dell PE 1950 III server with the PERC 6i contrroller and running Novell's OES2 on top of Suse. Can anyone comment on this, pro or con? If there is a problem, is there a known fix?

According to this link here
SUSE Linux 10 x86-64 is supported on PE1950 III server.
I have used SLES 8-10 on various Dell PE hardware and have not had any problems with drivers. I did have a driver issue with opensuse 11 with Dell PE2650, but had the same problem with Windows 2008 on PE2650 also (it is 6 years old after all)...

There was a problem but, it is resolved now; it was with SLES10 gold on OS install and AMD systems only.
