R310 gets blue screen during install
I have a R310 which failed with a blue screen. I tried booting from the Dell OS Disk and doing a clean install on both the original hard drive and a brand new Hard drive.
The installation runs normally but gets a blue screen at 10% or 20% (random) during file extraction.
Could it be the RAID controller that's faulty
any suggestions?

What is the stop code that is being displayed on the blue screen? Also, can you verify if the server is up to date on the BIOS, iDrac, Lifecycle Controller, as well as the raid controller in the server? If some of these get to far out of date it can cause stability issues. Let me know what the stop code is that you see and I will be able to better understand what is causing the issue. Also, what is the OS you are using?

Thanks for the reply, turns out it was one of the memory modules which were faulty. We removed one module and now it installs no problem.
