RHEL5.8 and Dell T730 or R730 servers?
Does anyone know if the new servers will support RHEL5.8 ? and if so will we need to find drivers for the raid card H730P or will they be the same as the H720 controllers or compatabile?

Hi,
RHEL 5.8 is not validated on the T730 or R730. http://linux.dell.com/files/supportmatrix/RHEL_Support_Matrix.pdf
RHEL 5.8 will not work with the Xeon v3 processors in the system. https://access.redhat.com/support/policy/intel
So if you need to use this OS you will have to virtualize and run it in a VM.
