Reg PE R710-USC-Deploy OS options
Hi,
I have PE R710 with latest Bios.When I boot to USC after pressing F10,I could see the below options under Deploy OS along with windows and Linux OS.
1. Hyper-V(TM) Server.
2. Any other Operating systems
My query is.
1) What is Hyper-V (TM ) server? Does it refer “Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2008 R2” OS?
2) What kind of Operating systems, I can install by selecting “Any other Operating systems”option, What kind of benefit user can get, if this option is selected, Will it install all the necessary drivers automatically for any OS?
Please let me know

1. yes, its Microsoft Hyper-V Server 2008 R2”
2. This is a new way to get you to insert the OS disc of your choice and the system will reboot to it. No drivers are loaded or expanded to any hidden partitions. translation: its mostly useless, you can boot to your own cd as well without using this option. I dont know of anyone that uses this option, but I would appreciate it if someone were to prove otherwise so we can know how it helped them.
