T320 - Software RAID1 trouble isntalling 2012 R2
Hi all,
Having some trouble installing 2012 R2 on a T320.
At first I used the Lifecycle Controller to create the RAID1 and Deploy OS. However, found out that it does not take my Volume License 2012 R2 image and it is all I have.
So to be safe I removed the Virtual Disk, re-created and booted from USB via BIOS mode. I can boot from USB but Windows setup cannot detect the disk "We couldn't find any drives. To get a storage driver, click Load driver".
Tried downloading from Dell's site, got the .exe, extracted and threw the files no a USB but had no difference there.
Have tried 2 versions of my Volume License. Any ideas? Thank you very much!

Hi, What RAID controller is installed in the system? When you loaded the drivers off the usb did it give any errors?

Configure RAID in the controller first. Some controllers do not support non-RAID, so it won't find any drives if they aren't configured in RAID, even if you do have the right drivers.

HI, I've already configured the RAID to RAID 1.

Thanks Josh, I have the PERC S110. Am I correct in assuming that the driver would come in an .exe and I have to unzip to a drive and just plug it and browse? I can only seem to see the 2008 R2 drivers, any idea if there are 2012 R2 ones? The error I get is that there are no signed drivers.

Apologies for the weird response, I can't respond to your posts as it says there's a duplicate?

The driver file you need is http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=9FCX8&fileId=3363900029&osCode=W12R2&productCode=poweredge-t320&languageCode=en&categoryId=SF
Which sounds like the one you used.
