T710 not listed as supporting OS Windows Server 2016 - What is likely to go wrong with a bare metal installation?

I want to install Windows Server 2016 Standard on a PowerEdge T710 currently running 2012R2.  The T710 (11th Generation) model is not listed as supporting OS Windows Server 2016.  Is that just because it is old and has not been tested (which makes sense), or are there drivers that are really likely not to work properly?  What else should I be concerned might go wrong?

Hello

There is no support for 2016 on the T710. We have not validated 2016 on the T710. I'm not aware of any statements we have made about whether or not we attempted to validate/qualify 2016 on the T710.

Thanks
