ms 2012 R2 server installation
Trying to install ms server 2012 R2, and get the "setup was unable to create a new system partition or locate an existing partition". Hardware is a power-edge T410, with a perc H700 raid controller. Raid 1 is setup, and set a first boot device. Have tried to install from an ISO on USB drive. Double checked that perc H700 is first ( and only) boot device(virtual disk 0) Used the F11, to boot from USB drive. All updates for the hardware are installed, bios, Perc raid controller etc. I am not that familiar with Windoze server installations. Linux installations rarely cause me any issues. Is there a secret handshake or prayer that needs to be invoked ?

The WD Black is not for servers, it is for workstations. Using consumer/desktop/laptop/NAS drives can display various issues. That would be my first guess. You could, however, try diskpart to create the partitions manually. Updating all firmware may help as well.
