poweredge 2650
Hello All:
I am new ti this site. I looking for dell 2650 poweredge installation software. I bought a used server, so need a installation cd. Where can i get it. Can I buy that anyehere?
I tried to download and it did not work at all.

The file you're looking for is in ISO format -- you download it and use a CD writer package to write the image to a CD (simply writing the ISO file to a CD will NOT work):

Note: this is NOT the operating system - you will need to purchase a copy of server operating system to install on the server. It is not included with the system, nor is it downloadable.

Thanks for quick replay.
Can you point me which ISO file that I should burn? If you have the link or the name of the file. My server is dell 2650 Poweredge.

Yes, that you very much for the help. I have downloaded the file. It is is winzip file named "OM_5.2.0_ISM_A00". When right clik on it and look for the file property it say winzip and not iso file. I will bun it on a CD and will let you know if it work on not. Thanks again for all the help.

Hello All:
I burned the CD with ISO image of "OM_5.2.0_ISM_A00" and it booted fine. At boot: prompt I selected "Server Assistant" and it loaded, then decompressed the Linux and then it loaded Kernal.
Then It gave a message saying "Unsupported System" . So may be this software does not support the Dell 2650 Power Edge.
So My next question is where can i get the software called "Dell PowerEdge Installation and Server Management" CD. I have tried to look on web site and no luck and it not available on Dell web site also.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I would try the previous version of the CD.

If that comes up with the same result then it would suggest the system has an issue and not the CD image.
