Cannot see VNX devices in Powerpath

What is the HBA? Can HBA see the luns and the paths?

Yes, the HBA could see all the luns. Emulex.

I suggest check the following:

1. Use the “powermt display options” command and see if the status is ‘managed’, and whether the “powermt config” command has been issued after the LUN was assigned.
2. Confirm whether the failover mode is properly configured.
3. Check whether there were any errors during PowerPath configuration.
4. Check whether an incorrect PowerPath package has been installed.
