PowerPath 5.7 SP3 for Linux is now available

PowerPath 5.7 SP3 for Linux replaces the PowerPath 5.7 SP2 release and is a full-package installation that includes all features supported in the PowerPath 5.7, 5.7 SP1, 5.7 SP1 P01, 5.7 SP1 P02, and 5.7 SP2 for Linux releases.

  • Support for RHEL 5.10 and Oracle Linux 5.10 UEK2 R5 kernel.
  • Support for RHEL 6.5.
  • Support for Oracle Linux 6.4 and 6.5 UEK3 kernel.
  • Support for EMC XtremIO running firmware version 2.2 SP1 and 2.2 SP2. This support is restricted to logical units (LUs) having sector size of 512 bytes only. XtremIO devices are managed by the XtremIO class.
  • Support for NetApp FAS2240 storage arrays. NetApp devices are managed by the NetApp class. If you require support for other NetApp storage arrays, submit a Request for Qualification (RPQ).
  • Support for the emcplun_linux script for dynamic addition and removal of LUNs.

   

PowerPath Migration Enabler:

  • Support for SLES 10 SP4 and SLES 11 SP3.
  • Support for RHEL 5.0 - RHEL 5.10 and RHEL 6.0 - RHEL 6.5.

   

PowerPath Encryption with RSA:

  • Support for SLES 10 SP4 and SLES 11 SP3.
  • Support for RHEL 5.0 - RHEL 5.10 and RHEL 6.0 - RHEL 6.5.

Do you know when E-Lab Navigator will be updated, right now it does not show 5.7 SP3 as available.
