PowerVault NX3200, PERC H710 Mini controller, need driver for Windows Server 2012
I've got a Powervault NX3200 with a PERC H710 Mini controller. It's running MS Storage Server 2012 (a slimmed down Windows Server 2012, non R2) I can't find an updated driver for the H710 on this OS. Dell's support page for the system shows a driver for Server 2008 R2 but not 2012. The 2008 driver will not install on 2012. Open Manage Server Admin shows this for the versions:
Driver version is out of date
Firmware Version: 21.3.2-0005
Driver Version: 6.801.05.00
Minimum Required Driver Version: 6.803.21.00
Storport Driver Version: 6.2.9200.16813
The "driver out of date" alert came up after updating other drivers and firmware for the system. It is running fine but but the fans are making a lot more noise since the other updates.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Bob G

Check Windows Updates for updated versions, as the drivers are native to Server 2012.

or google it :). Says it is for Server 2012 R2, so it is either a bug with OMSA not recognizing SS correctly or SS is actually 2012 R2.

Thanks. Google was the way to go. It turned up a page with the version I already had - but omitting the word "server" from the title "Microsoft Windows 2012 64 Bit Driver." From there I found links to all available versions for Server 2012. The latest is Version 6.805.01.00, A06-00 :
<ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed from this post by Dell>
If anyone from Dell picks up on this thread, please take a look at the page for NX3200 drivers for Server 2012 and update if you agree with the driver selection I found:
www.dell.com/.../drivers
The install went smoothly late yesterday. The fans are still running fast this morning but that's a separate issue.

You update the iDRAC/LCC and the BIOS? Do you have any additional add-in cards besides the PERC? Especially non-Dell cards?
