Running Windows 2008 R2 Ent. OMSA 8.2.0 which is saying I need the minimum required firmware of 03.17.01.00. I can only find 03.09.00.00 which is currently installed.

I'm in the same boat..Dell sent a new hba and it has 03.09 on it. Doh!

Interestingly if you remove OMSA 8.2.0 and install the previous version of OMSA it then says the current firmware on the HBA is the latest..

Hello, wsowka.
After some research, I've found that we don't have the firmware or drivers for this LSI card. However, you can go to LSI's site, and get them.
Here's the link for them:
www.lsi.com/.../lsi-sas-9300-8e.aspx
This is the most common 12Gbps HBA that we use.
