Hello sagar666,

How old are your tapes?  Also are you getting any other errors on your TL2000 other than the tape alert errors?  If you are not getting any other errors then the best way to figure out what is going on will be to get some logs from the TL2000 so that we can look at it & see what is causing the tape alert errors.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.

Hello sagar666,

Base on the log that you posted it is giving the error and then states that the drive needs to be cleaned.  How old is your cleaning tape?  Also have you tried to do a manual clean on the drive?

Also is there anything sitting on top of the TL 2000?  As I am seeing that there could be an issue with the robot in the system?  One other thing that you can try is to put in 3 test tapes in the system & try & do a random move test about 20 cycles and see if it completes without any errors.  If the test completes then I would try & clean the drive manually then run a test backup & see if it completes without any errors.

Please let us know if you have any other questions.
