Connect NX3230 with HP Tape Drive
Hi,
Is it possible to connect DELL NX3230 with HP Tape drive ( 1/8 HP tape Auto loader HP LTO-5 ulthrium 3000 SAS) ?
If yes, then what is the type of SAS HBA and cable that needs to be used on the NX3230 ?

What kind of SAS connection does the HP tape drive have?
I'd suggest to use a SAS HBA (Dell branded) with the same type of connector.

SAS HBA with SFF-8088 connection and a SFF-8088 to SFF-8088 cable will work

Would the above 2 work ?

Yes this should be fine, thats what i do but i have HP H241's.
im not sure why when you search for that sas cable it shows a fiber cable on the dell site.
