Dell LTO5 WHXH1
Hi,
I have received one of the above (not 100% if this is where i need to post this...) however i'm unsure of the IP address for this unit, is it possible to view this at all? or what are the defaults so i can give that a go

i would think its dhcp, but i think its only for service use. its not iscsi

Hello ndn1992,
That part# is for an external LTO5 FC tape drive. There is no IP address that is on the tape drive. When you connect the tape drive to either your switch or HBA you will need to zone it using the MAC address of the drive. You should be able to see the mac address on the bottom of the tape drive on the label.
