MD3200i - Multipath Drivers
Hi,
We have an MD3200i dual controller.
Firmware 07.84.44.60
Resource DVD 4.1.2.29 = MDSM 10.84.G6.44
I want to connect a LUN using Multipath IO WS2012R2, installing Multipath drivers from Md32 Series Resource DVD.
My question is:
Multipath drivers from Resource DVD 4.1.2.29 supports WS2012R2 ?
Is there compatibility issues if i install Multipath drivers in the WS2012R2 host using the last resource DVD 6.4.0.5 with our actual firmware, or we must update firmware?

Hello Jorge-IM,
If you want to use the latest Resource DVD of 6.4.0.5 you will need to upgrade the firmware as well. If you don’t upgrade the firmware then you will get error when trying to access MDSM. If your firmware on your MD3200i was only 1 revision behind then you may be able to use the driver without upgrading the firmware but you are a few back so you will need to upgrade your firmware as well for your MD3200i.
