PERC 5/E changing controller write policy, is that a bad sign?

The last couple days I've noticed chunks of events like this showing up in /var/log/messages.  Are they indicative of a failure/problem?  Never noticed them before on this server.  Wonder if my PERC or PV220S is dying.
