PV100T DDS4 - Cleaning after every use
We have 3 servers, all fitted with PV100T DDS4 drives, and I'm finding that they require cleaning afer almost every daily use. We use the recommended cleaning tapes (sony DGD15CL, replaced regularly), which run for approx 30 seconds and then eject - this clears the green led, but next day after running the backup the led is lit again. The drives run for between 1 and 3.5 hours per night.
Is this normal, any suggestions?
