PowerVault 705n
I have been given a Dell PowerVault 705N still in its original configuration and hard drives.
I downloaded the management software for it and it couldnt find it on my network, probably due to the previous owner having changed the IP settings.
I solbed this by removing the bios battery from within it and I was then able to discover the device on the network and using the PV Assist software.
The problem I have no is that i cannot access the settings due to the administrator password being set.
I cannot for the life of me get past this, I have pressed reset 4 times as it states in the manual and the default password of 'powervault' does not work at all!
I have had the battery, all the hard drives out everything, I just cannot seem to reset the administrator back to its factory default.
How can I do this, is it even possible to reset the admin password?
Many Thanks
