same size but different model disk using
Hi all,
I have an md3600f,
is it possible to using different model (for example, 2 x 1TB seagete + 2 x 1 TB WD for raid10) but same size disks together in a raid array creation or failed disk replacing in an already created array?

Hello yurdum,
Yes you can use different manufacture drives in the MD3600f to create a new raid array or replace a failed disk. What you need to make sure of is that the drives have a Dell Part# on them otherwise the drives will not be seen by the MD3600f. If you get drives with the same model# but not a Dell part# on them using our support matrix then your drives will not be seen by the MD3600f. ftp.dell.com/.../powervault-md3600f_Concept%20Guide_en-us.pdf
