Can I install a 2TB SSD on a Dell 3630 Precision Tower

I have a Dell 3630 Precision Tower with a 250Gb PCIe SSD in one slot, and a 2TB HDD in a second slot.  I would like to upgrade the HDD to an SSD.  The spec sheet for this computer shows that the slot which currently has the SSD can accept a 2Tb SSD; however, the other SSD slot will only accept a 1Tb 2.5in SSD.  Can the 1Tb SSD slot accept a 2Tb 2.5in SSD, or will I have to use the slot which currently holds the 250G SSD?

Absolutely you can install an SSD up to and including a 4TB SATA SSD. This page at Crucial has examples though any quality SSD will work.

What other member posted was what you CAN do and it didn't say anything about spec sheet.

As for your question, the spec sheet is correct.  When Dell released the 3630, you could only order the machine with hardware components listed on that spec sheet.

Same will go with Windows 12, if you CAN install Windows 12 in the future, it doesn't mean the spec sheet is wrong because it failed to list it in operating system.

Are you saying that the spec sheet put out by Dell is incorrect?

Thanks for clarifying that.  It will make my life much easier.
