Corect R7910 SAS Cable to PERC H730P with backplane 0TGNMY?

I have a rackmount R7910 with an 8-drive bay using backplane 0TGNMY connecting to a Dell PERC H730P RAID controller.  Upgrading from no RAID controller to a cold spare we had, but do not have the cable.  Current cables run from the backplane to the motherboard.  I have seen a few part numbers, but 0F037K seems to be the most common.  I am not sure if any are interchangeable and just have different part numbers on them or not.  Before we drop the money and buy a cable, I would greatly appreciate any input anyone has on which is the correct cable.

Thanks!

Hi SecurityChris,

Yes, you can use either F037K or FN73C to connect your H730P to the backplane.

Thanks

Hello! But how do you connect the Mini SAS cables to the H730P card? The angled connector of the SAS cable cannot fit into the card, it is too long distance between the connector on the PERC card, I just can't fit it in. Is there any way to bend the connector, that I am not aware of, or how do you fit in in place? This drives me nuts :-). Regards, Per

Hi, you ever find an answer to your question? I have an R7910 as well and is fitted with SSDs and I would like to put to good use. Same controller, H730.

Thanks.
