Dell t1700 memory upgrade questions
Hi all,
I tried to upgrade my Dell T1700 with 32gb memory (4x8gb modules) pc3-12800R. Registered ECC memory.
I am getting beep error on power. I tried updating bios to latest version A25 but no change.
Does the T1700 support this memory?

Unfortunately, the Precision T1700 does not support Registered memory, only Unbuffered DDR3. You would be best looking for 8GB Unbuffered ECC DDR3L 1600MHz memory, similar to what Dell shipped T1700s with.
Almost all of our T1700s (30+) have these DIMMS: Hynix HMT41GU7AFR8A-PB
Which are: "8GB PC3L-12800E DDR3-1600 UNBUFFERED ECC DIMMs"

So I was wondering can I upgrade my pc to 4 8gb ddr3L 1600mhz sticks for a total of 32gb would that work here is the link for the ram I'm talking about
