Precision T5810 PSU problems

Hello,

I have a Precision T5810 that has a flashing orange led 2 - 2. It should be a problem with the power supply and by pressing the BIST button, the fan spins and stops. There should be the led under the rear transparent handle, but nothing turns on.

I'm looking for a replacement power supply but I'm having a hard time finding it. Mine is 685W with code 0K8CDY but I can't find it in Italy. Are there any modes compatible with my PC?

Thanks so much

@Cesare_Vigi , You can get the same 685w genuine Dell part for your workstation or upgrade to 825w if you wanted to.  Remember those are ebay sellers from your area, you could make an offer at lower price too.

Ok, but are all 685w power supplies compatible?

I have seen several model codes (0W4DTF, OCT3V3, etc.), are they all compatible that you know of?

Thanks so much

Hello,

I found on ebay a power supply with the same code as mine, I had to get it in France (I live in Italy), it should arrive at the beginning of the week ... let's hope the computer problem was the faulty power supply.

I update you as soon as I try it.

Thanks so much
