Upgrading GPU?

Hello i have a dell t3610 that has a 685w psu i need 1×8pin and a 1×6pin to power a saphire nitro + rx 570 8gb that uses 195w. I heard that for t3610 has 300w for graphics card. I have 2×6pins is there any addapter or anything i can use?

can i just use an adapter 6pin to 8 pin? becauze this dell adapter is very far and shipping costs double for shipping and my currency is euros

Hi @Edgarasbd ,

Technically yes, with something like this. However, connection in cable-to-cable style for GPU may lead to system unstable. If you need to buy extra cable anyway, better go for a single 8pin male to 6+8pin male one. Not necessary to be exactly the one in my previous reply but any generic one will do. Maybe you can look for it in a nearby computer store or eBay/Amazon.

Hi @Edgarasbd ,

Check out page #58 of T3610 Owner's Manual and you're right that max 300w for GPU. And you need a 8 to 8+6pin power cable, like this.
