016-317 error message changed to 116-364 while uploading firmware???
I had a message of 016-317 and with an advice I reloaded the update firmware. While it was loading in the middle of it on the printer screen a message appeared which was saying "restart printer, contact support... if message returns, 116-364" This time it was a different message. I have checked ESS Errors and software issues and so on, clearing spooling and forth, I could not get rid of the message, do you know what would it be?Thanks.

No, I couldn't. Though, after a search, I understood that it is a mechanical problem, a part needs to be changed in there. I have taken off all cables and connections and started the printer again, it gives me same message. And the part needs to be changed is quite expensive, it is not worth it, I would buy a ne $200 worth brand new printer that does the same job if necessary.Similar printers are couple hundred dollars so I got rid off the printer and got a used HP from estate sales.
