1710n Firmware upgrade

Everytime I try to access the printer settings page on the embedded web page to upgrade the printers firmware it asks me for the username and password.  I have tried everything - I believe the username is "admin" (w/o ") but every password I have tried failed.  From password, Password, blank, etc. failed.  Support on the web is nonexistant and the so-called manual is a joke.  Why can't Dell cover everything concerning the product they are selling?

I really need help with this as the printer is acting up and I believe that this upgrade would help.

Thank you ieee488 - It worked and was able to upgrade the firmware.

What was the solution? The support forums aren't linking to the cscjmg's answer anymore.
