2145CN FW update screw up the printer

hi, I have a 2145CN multi color MFP. Recently i installed windows 8 for my system so i just go ahead and update my printer with the latest FW (verA02). After i download the fw and flash the printer (all connection and power are good), the printer display with a "system initialize" message and flashing. But the printer did not go back to normal...... I cant believe a simple FW flash which i got from dell could completely screw up my printer!!!
