305w with Win7 won't scan

I set up my 305w all in one on my new Latitude E6410 with Windows 7 - 64 bit using the driver on the Dell website as suggested. Have just tried to scan and can not.

Tried to do it via the printer since it wouldn't respond on the computer. . I went to the Printer itself and using the window in the printer went  to  Scan menu , Colour, pressed the tick, and it came up with these options NEWUSER-PC, MARSDEN-XDLF39, ROCHELLE PC, and asked me to select. I sected the last one and it said Downloading Application List. then said Can not retrieve Application list. I then tried the others and got the same message with all.

It was suggested I went to:-

I tried what was suggested but failed because when I went to Home I don't have See more Scan Settings and I don't have any Advanced option. Looking at:-

1.  Open Dell Printer Home

2.  Click on settings, scan destinations.

3.  Click on Find All Applications.

4.  Click add and locate the program you want to add. Browse for it and select the file type.>>

I went to Settings  but there was no Find All Applications.

Can any one help please
