3100cn w/ Duplexer - Paper jam issues

Hello,

I am having quite a time with my 3100cn and paper jams occurring on the first pass through the duplexer. Things seemed to go all right when I started printing a number of papers this evening, but after a short while I started getting paper jams. It actually got to the point of having two to three jams for every page printed before I gave up and called it a night.

Everything looks debris-free in the printer and especially where the jams are occurring and the only thing I can think of that might be causing them is the temperature the printer gets to after processing a number of pages.

Does anyone know if there is a known relation between temperature and paper jam frequency on the 3100cn with the duplexer? Is there a known problem with the rollers and other parts need the end of that first duplexer pass that would cause a ton of paper jams?

Thanks,

Matt
