926 Printer trouble (CARTRIDGE AND STRANGE NOISE)

so i intalled a black ink cartridge a few months ago it was working perfectly fine until today. the computer and printer is currently displaying an error message "install two cartridges". now the coloured cartridge is finished and i took that out of the printer recently. i am using a series 9 black ink cartridge at the moment. and it is in working condition. do you think its because i took out the coloured cartridge or is it just a malfunction? whats going on?

ANOTHER PROBLEM: IT MAKES A WEIRD NOISE WHEN I COMES ON .....seriously... >.>

i dont know if it has something to do with the usb, (its not recognised by the computer when i start it up) i really dont know!!.....it never did this before this only happened a few months ago about he same time i installed the cartridge (i dont think that has anything to do with it tho) all it does is give an error message "error 2200"  then after it makes the noises lasts for about  30 - 40 secs
